Classy and spruce, does the job,
This evening I just received in cooperation the Kindle Fire and, in the constant box, the Verso Prologue Take in (Chocolate)–and am really pleased with in cooperation! As other reviewers have understood, the take in looks wonderful, and it feels nice, be fond of glove leather. I sought after a classy-looking, lightweight, spruce take in and this fits of laughter the bill impeccably. It makes the Kindle look just be fond of an antique book when it’s sitting on the table.
The double-jointed IS a morsel snug as other reviewers have understood, but I reckon that’s a GOOD thing. For comparison, I have an older M-Advantage take in for a Kindle 3 that has looser elastics to hold in the top corners, and while it’s ultraeasy to get the Kindle 3 in and out of the M-Advantage take in, on the other hand I’ve irregularly found that the top outer corner double-jointed has essentially slipped rancid. As a result, I’m thinking a tighter double-jointed for the Kindle Fire is excellent: less flaccid right at the get-go, and I don’t really want any “give” when I’m say holding the Kindle Fire while by the abstruse (whatever thing to make that darned abstruse extra fascinating, right?)! At first just looking at the Kindle Fire vs. the take in elastics I didn’t reckon the Kindle Fire would fit, but I gave it a try and it really did. There appears to be some anti-slip thin rubbery backing to the elastics, which given my occasional scares with the other take in, seems to be a excellent perception even though it makes it a small harder to adjust the spot of the elastics.
The Kindle really feels be fond of it’s secure in there, yet there was enough room for me to go on my index finger under the double-jointed to straighten it out a small after putting the Kindle in (this might be extra hard if you have larger fingers). I did have to take the Kindle Fire out and place it back in again in view of the fact that I realized I’d place it in upside-down the first calculate, and it was simple enough. Also, I’m not plotting to be taking it in and out of the take in very regularly.
The double-jointed is black, which is excellent as it doesn’t detract from whatever I’m viewing on the screen. The two tops of all of the double-jointed bands appear to go into slits in the microfiber fabric in the back of the take in. I tugged on them and couldn’t caution how they were affixed to the back; anyway they seem to be pretty secure, will bring up to date the assess if that changes.
There is a single lengthwise pocket inside the front take in that is through of the constant black microfiber notes as the inside take in; it appears to add excellent utility without bulk. The texture of the notes is pleasant and suede-be fond of.
As other reviewers have commented, at the start the take in didn’t quite fold flat over the Kindle Fire–at the far advantage (away from the spine) the front take in was about 4 mm above the Kindle. I don’t know that I would’ve noticed if other reviewers hadn’t pointed it out. But, after effective some of the stiffness out of the spine (just for a minute or two), it is impeccably flat now. As I alluded above, after getting the Fire into the take in, I did go around to all double-jointed to make sure it wasn’t folded and make sure the tension in the elastics was relatively evenly distributed. I don’t know if possibly that may have resulted in a slightly different spot of my Kindle inside this take in compared to the other reviewers who were having apparently extra noteworthy problems with the take in lying flat.
All in all, very classy and spruce, will work well for disguising the Kindle as a book, appears to hold the Kindle in there securely, and provides some lightweight protection in the unlikely event that I drop the Kindle on the carpet while by it on the abstruse. It will NOT prop up the Kindle on a table to watch a movie, and I really didn’t want a take in with the necessary bulk to be able to sort out that. (If I really had the calculate to sit in one place to watch whatever thing, I’d just turn on the TV!)

For the Verso Prologue Take in in Cherry: It has the feel of soft, lush leather — even if apparently it is not leather, but you may possibly have fooled me. The conundrum I’m running into is, this is meant for the Kindle Fire? It just BARELY fits of laughter into the double-jointed straps at all corner. I forced it. I worry that the straps will loosen over calculate, but calculate will caution. And the take in doesn’t lay completely flat when the “book” is closed. Possibly be fond of leather, some aid will cause the spine to accommodate and relax. It’s a wonderful piece, though. I should restore it, but I’m not going to, in view of the fact that it’s that wonderful.
UPDATE: As others have pointed out, there is a backing to the double-jointed that really holds the Fire securely. That and the fact that it’s a tight squeeze to get the Fire in place to start with, I’m confident that the equipment is very secure. The elastics on top sort out take in some of the speaker outlet, but I don’t notice a difference and when surveillance a movie or listening to music on a personal device, I aid headphones anyway. Even alone.
This isn’t the right take in if you plot to take out it regularly, but. For example, I removed the Kindle Keyboard from its case several times a week to place it into a dry pouch for pool/bath times. That isn’t happening here.
Even if the elastics are properly flattened and not curled under in any way, the take in still doesn’t lay entirely flat. I reckon the manufacturer would sort out well to add 1/4″ to the spine. I don’t regret the three-star assess, but I am glad I chose to keep it.

|Fantastic for my Kindle Fire,
I got this take in a day before I got my Kindle Fire which I received this daylight. I read the other reviews and got nervous. Well the take in looks be fond of an ancient calculate classic leather bound book. I place my Kindle Fire in and it fits of laughter fantastic. Evidently people expect it to be a perfect “snug” perfectly flat fit. Now I will aid this primarily for reading, as a result the speakers are of a minor concern to me, as a result the strap casing the advantage virtually the speakers are a non issue. I streamed Julia Outcome for enjoyable as a test and used ear phones …. and even took the phones out and heard Julia just fine. I just set it on my nightstand face down and it does lie flat with the wonderful spine showing. I reckon this take in is perfectly classy and I tenderness that it has thumbs down zippers, straps, snaps, buttons, velcro tabs or ties. It looks be fond of a book and opens in the constant unadorned way.
