Calendar design needs improvement, but still enjoyable for kids,
Advent calendars are one of loads of things my kids look forward to each Christmas. For my son, purchasing one is a thumbs down-brainer — buy LEGO and we’re done (they place out a new calendar each year). My daughter, but, presents a morsel extra of a challenge. We’ve already gone through the Tiniest Pet Shop and My Small Pony offerings, as a result I was pleased to find this Polly Pocket calendar this year.
The doll and clothing in the calendar are relatively standard Polly Pocket fare , though as another reviewer has confirmed, the have control over,feet and hands are larger than usual and the have control over pops rancid relatively easily. Thus far, we have not found this to be an issue – you sort out need to pop the have control over rancid to fit some of the clothing, but doing as a result has not bothered my daughter. I sort out have two issues with this calendar, though. First, the Polly doll is located behind door #25. What kid wants to open door after door of clothing without finding a doll to WEAR the clothing? The doll should be the first item opened – perhaps the designers were going for a huge end, but practically this doesn’t work. We opened door #25 first. Following, if you pop out the stand on the back of the calendar in peacefulness to prop up the calendar on a flat surface, you can see each item located in the “pockets” of the calendar. How hard would it be to make the packaging opaque and thus preserve the surprise?
As a result in summary, the doll and clothing are pretty much what we expected, but the calendar design needed improvement. My daughter, but, is enjoying this calendar despite my reservations.

I be fond of advent calendars, particularly ones with toys in view of the fact that they spread the Christmas holiday out over the whole month. We’ve used several versions, including the Tiniest Pet Shop Facts Exclusive 2008 Advent Calendar with 3 Pets (Including Purple Penguin!) and My Small Pony “Ponyville” Advent Calendar. This Polly Pocket translation has been the least favorite.
I have three daughters ages 8,11 and 15, as a result we’ve had a ration of Polly action around here over the years and I know better than to expect much in the way of durability, but some of these ruined the first calculate they tried to aid them. The outfits were kind of dull, and accessories limited.
Overall it would be sanction for an early Polly Pocket fan, in view of the fact that it does beef up the attire pretty instant, but any daughter who has already comprehensive a hefty Polly Mob’ won’t be excessively impressed.

|dissappointing for a outcome,
My daughter has 3 polly pocket dolls one bought very recently. Imagine her surprise as each day she opens and find a tiny piece fo clothing ( a shirt or pair of shorts) and none of them fit her doll!! I was hoping there would be a doll on the first day that at that calculate you got to get clothes for eveyrday. As a result far Day 21 thumbs down doll.
