   I bought this several ( 5 ?) years ago for my daughter and two extra sets for my nephews.
   Each December, we take it out and it gets place out and played with extra than any other indoor toy during the month of December. All three chidren delight in it as a result much, I also bought the Playmobil Advent Christmas scene that is designed to hang be fond of an Advent calender with a Nativity scene set up separately for mess about. Tiny boxes hang on the cardboard calendar, and all box holds a toy that can be played with . Some of the toys are very tiny ( tiny mice) , and tiny children should be supervised with these pieces. My daughter and her cousins are all 9 years ancient. They still mess about with it and delight in making and playing with the Nativity. It is very lasting.

   We got this nativity set for our daughters when the oldest was 3. In cooperation girls are very interested in playing with it in their own way. We are still by mostly just the facts, and keep a ration of the tinier pieces place away for when they are older. I tenderness how the facts stand up and are easily posable for tiny hands. My one beef is that some of the headdress hasn’t been properly molded. Last year we found that Mary’s veil wouldn’t fit very well. This year it’s Caspar’s turban. In fact, it barely perches, and if you set him down anyway but extremely gently the turban just falls rancid. Which for a toddler, is all the calculate. I don’t know why some of the headdress goes on with nearly a click, at that calculate unsystematic pieces appear to be excessively huge.

   Otherwise, this is a fantastic set, and I can see our kids playing with it for a long calculate.

   I just bought the new Lego 2008 Castle Advent Calendar for my 4year ancient son. I absolutley LOVE this year’s kit. I try to buy a new advent calendar each year for my son to help him count down the days until christmas. We’ve done pirate calendars, and dueling knights and they’ve all been huge hits, but most required prep work on my part snapping together toys, stuffing them into boxes and putting the whole kit together.

   As a result my absolute favorite thing about this kit is that it is ready to go right out of the box. There are 24 perforated windows and behind all window is a tiny wrapped prize. There are knights, a wizard, a terrifying looking snowman, a jester, swords, shields, way excessively loads of enjoyable things to name!

   It doesn’t look be fond of the box will mount to a wall or door, but it does stand alone on a table. The outer box has a flap that folds out to make a castle backdrop and show vicinity for your prizes.

   I read that this kit is not being released in the US this year, which is probably why it has such a high price tag. I searched all over the internet for this kit and you really won’t find it for less than $35-40 right now. At that calculate you have to be really precise that they don’t tack on double as much $$ for overseas shipping. Hopefully the price will come down extra as it becomes extra available locally.
