Protective, with Two Minor Design Flaws,
Be fond of a hardly any others, I prearranged this case after finding out about Kindle Touch. I sought after to take my kindle touch on a long, approximate hiking dive (20 days), as a result I looked through the zippered covers carefully, and I finished up with this one.
Here are a hardly any things I really delight in about it:
1. This take in is very protective. To imitate the approximate circumstances I might face on my dive, I have tried punching my fists together across one take in (not two), and a hardly any punches don’t hurt a ration. Through this test, I chose that my kindle touch will be prudent from any reasonable collisions.
2. The zippers pull smoothly, much better than the zippers on my norm clothes. As a result on my dive, I won’t have to worry about contravention these zippers. The reason I’m as a result obsessed with zippers is that they keep most of the water (from rain and rivers) outside. I’m confident this take in will get the job done.
3. Most of the take in is fiber, not leather. I know a ration of people would very leather, but I be fond of fiber, in view of the fact that most leather can’t stand hard scratches. Fiber usually can.
4. The Marware zipper handles are very nice. They are soft, lasting, and smooth. I would clarify it as one of quality and precise design.
Now, for the two minor design flaws:
1. If you wish to place your kindle touch upright and apply the hand strap to your left hand, you’ll be seriously disappointed. The reason is that the take in doesn’t fold back properly; when you hold it with your left hand, you’ll be forced to wield additional force to keep it folded. (I’m left handed, as a result it is a huge conundrum for me). Someone has suggested doing fold-and-zip. While this can certainly be done (I’ve tried it, and it worked), it cannot be done without effort, in view of the fact that the zippers are pulled backwards. Also, in view of the fact that the zipper handles will be zipped to the inside after this is done, unzipping the take in takes bags of effort and endangers your zipper to contravention (I did not break mine on the first try, but I know the zippers pull weirdly when I tried to unzip it from the fold-and-zip). Clearly, Marware did not design the take in to be used this way.
The only real solutions are to hold it with your right hand or insert the kindle touch bottom-up, in view of the fact that you will at that calculate be holding the take in by its zippered edges, allowing your thumb ‘s untreated spot to push the take in down (I’ve experimented with it, and this really facility without intentionally exerting any additional force).
*** NOTE: in cooperation the fold-and-zip and my solutions will leave a bend mark on the leather piece.
2. Even without a kindle touch in it, this take in’s feature pocket is very tight, as a result extracting nearly whatever thing from the pocket will prove hard without tools. This renders the feature pocket useless (I sought after to aid it as a substitute for my wallet, but I had to change my mind).
Even with these minor flaws, this is a fantastic take in that serves the purposes of in cooperation being comprehensively protective and looking nice. I would certainly recommend this to any kindle touch user. Brilliant work, Marware!
*** UPDATE, with the actual kindle touch:
The feature pocket doesn’t feel any different with the kindle touch; but, it is still excessively tight to be helpful.
The kindle touch fits of laughter impeccably, and the take in zippers can still zip and unzip without any bother.
After folding the take in and making the kindle face up, the kindle touch’s weight is enough to keep the take in folded.
My right hand hand strap manner facility, and my thumb will not touch the kindle touch screen when I aid the manner. It facility even when I take the take in-and-kindle facing down.
Plugging the charger into the kindle touch can be slightly troublesome, in view of the fact that the take in bends up on the sides and can get in the way. (Pushing the take in’s sides down facility.
The take in has two zipper handles, as a result you can zip the take in even while charging.

|You CAN Make This Case Work Better,
One of the complaints about the Marware Jurni Kindle suitcases is that they don’t lie flat. The solution appears to be running the zipper partially back once you open the case. The illustration in the Amazon listing even shows this.
But, when you look at other Marware harvest and read the reviews, you might come to the end that the company doesn’t always “get it”. The reverse zipper trick is a morsel of a “The dog ate my homework” excuse. If Marware had intended the case to work this way, they would have used the kind of zipper pulls that can be went from one feature of the slider to the other. My estimate is that they designed it, has the suitcases through overseas, and when they got their hands on the manufacture models, got that sinking feeling that comes with realizing you messed up.
You CAN make this case work properly and fold open without a ration of effort. Just take a sharp knife or excellent embroidery scissors and graze away the fake leather hinge piece. Work carefully on the threads that stitch the hinge to the take in and pull the piece away a small at a calculate. You’ll be rid of it in a hardly any summary. It does leave some unfinished looking areas on the case, but it FUNCTIONS be fond of it was held to, and the zippered pocket on the outside is really usable.
The Jurni is just another Marware design with problems. In this case, the back “hinge” piece is through of equipment that are excessively stiff, and want to fight back at you. Marware may have forgotten (or may have never known) that for loads of of the activities undertaken by Kindle users, the ability of the Kindle to lie flat is vital — otherwise you might as well be reading a paper book.
I would be pleased to trade my (now fixed) Kindle Fire Jurni with a truly functional manufacture model, should Marware ever fess up and get this thing fixed.

|Just what I sought after…,
I was looking for something that was lasting and adequately protected my Kindle, and this facility perfectly! As another reviewer pointed out, the take in doesn’t stay open well, but if you bend it back and slightly zip the take in closed, the take in will stay open.
It’s about 1 in. thick, but it’s still tiny enough to fit in my purse. I’m very pleased with this hold!
EDIT: In view of the fact that I’ve been by this with my new Kindle Touch, I’ve noticed that the take in is extra flexible now and doesn’t require me zipping it to stay open! Also, the feature pocket (as other have pointed out) is pretty useless. I tried to place the power cord in there…thumbs down go. I can see how CC would fit, but honestly I would be frightened I couldn’t get them back out! I still give it 5 stars in view of the fact that it fits of laughter my Kindle Touch as a result well. I can turn it on and charge it without having to take out it from the take in.
