Protective and Light Weight – Perfect for Kindle or Touch,
I bought this product along with the new “Kindle” (the new smallest $79 translation) in view of the fact that I’ve liked Built harvest in the past (fantastic digital camera suitcases). Everything but the lining of this envelope-shaped case is through of tough, thick, neoprene-be fond of notes. It repels water and will certainly hold-up to habitual transport and grind and tear. The case is detained closed by manufacturing grade velcro tabs on all corner of the envelope’s flap. The velcro is strong enough that this is not going to pop open. Once you open the top flap, there is a zippered, flat pocket on the front of the main “pocket” part of the envelope. It spans the entire width of the envelope and impeccably fits of laughter the USB charger cord that comes with any of the Kindles. Note: You would not be able to fit whatever thing bulky in this pocket, be fond of a clip-on light or USB electrical outlet adapter.
The lining is through of a very plush and soft, synthetic notes that feels be fond of a luxe throw blanket. It adds a small superfluous cushioning to this product and will absolutely never scratch the screen of your kindle. Also, the product is honestly light weight and doesn’t add unwanted bulk and weight to roving with your Kindle.
Even with buying the less vital Kindle, this envelope is a secure fit and the Kindle does not go around in the case, and it certainly will not saving out. I can caution that the Touch would also fit, but this evelope would be extra of a sleeve-type fit for the slightly larger Touch.
I would certainly recommend this as a fantastic case for the Kindle or Touch.
UPDATE: I now own the Kindle Touch (which is fabulous) and this case does work enormously. As I suspected, this case is a very real fit, be fond of a sleeve, when used with the Touch. But you don’t have to struggle to slide the Touch into the case.
Also, to address another assess, I sort out not reckon this case is excessively bulky or thick. It appears as pictured and the neoprene + soft lining ensures that your Kindle will not break if you drop it or have other items poke into it while it’s in your bag. But, this case is not a thin sleeve; as a result if you are looking for a sleeve that will in the end just protect the screen from scratches, at that calculate this product will have extra heft and bulk than you are expecting.

|Needs Streamlining,
I bought this Envelope in view of the fact that I was tiring of repurchasing different sleeves and covers each calculate I got a new Ereader or upgraded. I had the Built Open Sleeve for my ancient K3, which I liked, but it’s greatly excessively large for the new Kindle. It fits of laughter, but without a closure and snug grip, the ereader is accountable to saving out if it’s accidently turned upside down or sideways.
I’ve also previously bought the Timbuk2 nylon envelope for a older translation Kindle (K2), but I disliked its stiff bulkiness.
This Envelope gets 3 1/2 stars for the following reasons:
Pro: The bombard is very well padded and secure, and the interior is plush and soft, with thumbs down chance for scratches. Also, it smells fine. I’ve never received whatever thing from Built that had a smelly Neoprene stench.
Note/Observation: For those that are curious, thumbs down the K3 (Kindle Keyboard) does not fit into this envelope. It’s a small over 1/2″ excessively long. I have a feeling the new Timbuk2 envelope for K4/Touch might, in view of the fact that they usually go on huge. But just to be clear, this was not a concern of mine.
Cons: The bombard is already well padded, just be fond of their other Open Sleeves, but the flap closure is just as padded and makes added bulkiness, that really isn’t necessary IMO. I also really don’t know the feature zipper pocket. I personally will never aid it, unless I’m roving for an extended period of calculate. There is also a morsel of clunkiness in regards to it in the closed state. It does not exactly lay flat and flush (puffs out on the front top sides).
Overall, I’m a morsel disappointed, especially for $30. I already have other sleeves that sort of work, as a result I don’t need another I don’t really care for. I’m persistent this one and tiresome out the new Timbuk2 soft envelope.

|LOVE IT,
My last take in for my K2 was a really nice pale pink leather case. I really liked it. But this one serves my purpose much better as I be fond of to read my Kindle naked. This case is very well through, and lightweight. I tenderness that I can just slip my Baby Kindle inside, close it with the velcro closing and know that it is prudent and sound. It also has a zippered pouch just under the flap that will fit the charging cord. I cannot imagine a better case….thank you BUILT.
