A meticulous assess of the COVER, not the price. Read on…,
First, let’s not turn this into a debate about the price. Haven’t we had enough of that nonsense with the book reviews? Below, is a meticulous assess of the PRODUCT itself, with just a minor note on the price/regard.
DESIGN:
This is Amazon’s best designed take in to date. The kindle easily and securely snaps in place – there are thumbs down hinges or irritating double-jointed corner bands and all buttons and the power haven are fully accessible. In addendum, they removed all types of straps and cords. These were a conundrum on previous models for a number of reasons: they ruined or snapped after regular aid, they through the take in uncomfortable to hold, they added superfluous weight/bulk, and they were very repellent. The front take in is biased to stay closed when the kindle lies flat (it won’t pop up). To be clear, there is thumbs down strap, fastening or magnet to secure it in place (just be fond of the front flap of a hardcover book). Kindle users be fond of myself were looking for two things: sleekness/thin fit and a case that was aesthetically pleasing that didn’t scream “kindle nerd,” and they delivered. This case is slim, tight, and ultra sleek. After all, the main attribute of this new kindle is its tiny size and weight. Thumbs down one wants a take in that will negate that.
QUALITY:
The take in is through of excellent quality leather and has a nice feel. The inside of the front take in (the part that touches the screen when closed) is a microfiber notes designed to protect the screen and avoid scratches. The section that holds the kindle in place around the perimeter is hard rubber and grips it very well. This is not “cheap” or poorly through at all. I feel be fond of I got my money’s value.
COMFORT:
It’s extremely comfortable to hold, whether with one hand (the take in easily flips back and was designed to sort out as a result) or with two hands be fond of a physical book. It easily fits of laughter in a coat pocket, briefcase, or purse. Again, people were fed up with all the straps and such as a result the fact that they got rid of them adds to the comfort factor. As for protection, it’s excellent enough to prevent scratches and dings, but if it takes a huge saving it probably won’t help. Don’t buy this case if you’re looking for hardcore protection.
VALUE:
Just a concise note that’s not affecting the # of stars: No problem, this costs 50% of the device itself, but until Amazon decides to price the accessories as aggresively as the kindle, we’re going to have to transact business with it. Besides, if you’re going to aid it regularly you’ll get your money’s value. I will say that at $59.99, the lighted take in is quite costly and you need to weigh the cost against how much you’ll aid it. I can’t read in floor as I’ll saving asleep in 5 summary, as a result it’s not an issue for me.
SUMMARY:
An brilliant, extremely thin and shape-fitting case that addresses all the problems with previous versions. Highly not compulsory.

|Outstanding Look, Feel and Workmanship,
I’m not going to go into a meticulous description of the product as this was well done by other reviewers. I sought after to take the calculate to leave a very positive assess for this product in view of the fact that the quality of this take in really impressed me. I was reluctant to spend $40 for a take in, excessively, but I took my chances and I’m as a result glad I did. The device fits of laughter impeccably in the hard rubber interior of the take in and won’t go at all (in addendum to being protected all around the edges, with openings for the USB/Power button and the page forward/back buttons on in cooperation sides of the device). The leather and stitches are perfectly finished and this take in really has a classy look and a secure feel. I am pleased to say that I got what I paid for, in a excellent way! The take in doesn’t add much weight to the device and can easily be detained open for reading with one hand. I recommend spending a hardly any superfluous bucks for this really nice belt. I got the green translation, which is really a morsel darker than on the official product picture. The leather is olive green, not apple green. Finally, here is my original contribution: the take in closed WITH the device inside (Kindle 4, Wi-Fi, 6″) and securely fitted weighs exactly 275 grams or 9.70 ounces, just in case you were wondering.

|Well through and elegant, with tiny caveat,
I tenderness the way the Kindle snaps into this case and fits of laughter impeccably–it is truly “Through for Kindle.” I tenderness that it adds as a result small weight, that my Verso clip-on light can clip right over it, that it opens fully as a result it can be detained with the front folded fully back, that all the controls are flush with the edges of the take in.
But I sort out wish it had some sort of closure. I sewed some 1/8″ double-jointed that I will aid when I need it to positively stay shut. One star rancid for thumbs down closure (I’d take out only half a star if that were an option).
Now we come to the colors… Was some designer in the middle of a depression when the colors were chosen? Color taste is subjective, I know, but black, exhausted leave behind, or jarring yellowish olive green? Not a cheerful tone in the bunch! How about a deep royal desolate, forest green, or teal? Or even a rosy cherry? C’mon, Amazon!
